Appeal from a judgment of the superior court for Spokane county, Huneke, J., entered July 16, 1915, in favor of the defendant, notwithstanding the verdict of a jury rendered in favor of the plaintiffs, in an action for personal injuries sustained through contact with an electric current.

Action for personal injuries. Defendant operates an extensive electric power system in eastern Washington and southern Idaho. It has a number of generating plants. One of these, a water power plant, is located on the Spokane river at Post Falls, Idaho. These generating plants are all tied into one system by means of high power transmission lines which are controlled from a substation in the city of Spokane, known as the Twenty-ninth avenue substation.
