HODGES, Justice.

The dispositive issues on appeal are whether: 1) the three-year statute of limitations prescribed by 10 O.S.1981 § 831 is *108applicable to a paternity proceeding initiated pursuant to 12 O.S.1981 § 1277.2;2 2) trial courts have jurisdiction to determine paternity under § 1277.2; and 3) if blood tests conducted by HLA (Human Leukocyte Antigen) Tissue Typing are admissible.
