SANDSTROM, Justice.

[¶ 1] Claude Joseph Mercier appeals after he pled guilty to possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia, reserving the right to appeal the *482denial of his motion to suppress evidence. Because the district court properly denied the motion to suppress, we affirm the criminal judgment.
