The plaintiff brought this suit for the recovery of the purchase price for 300 dozen hose, a part of a contract, partly in parol and partly in writing, for 1000 dozen hose, of which 700 dozen were delivered by the plaintiff to, and paid for by, the defendants. The contract was entered into on or about Jan. 29, 1920; deliveries were made during the following February and March as and when requested by the defendants.
