The Denkman Lumber Company, a corporation, was the owner of certain real and personal property in Lincoln County upon which taxes for the year 1933 had been legally assessed, these taxes amounting in the aggregate to the sum of $3122.21. The record does not disclose what part thereof was on the realty and what part on the personal property. The owner did not pay any part of these taxes on or before February 1, 1934, nor on or before May 1, 1934; and before the action by the state tax collector, next to be mentioned, the sheriff had taken no steps to distrain and sell the personal property or…
