After a verdict for the plaintiff in this case, the judgment was arrested by the Court below. ■ The declaration substantially avers that the defendant falsely and maliciously spoke certain disparaging words of the plaintiff with intent to injure him in his business, and that in consequence of the speaking of these words, he was dismissed from his employment as a clerk and an assistant weigh-master.
