MEMORANDUM OPINION

BRUCE FOX, Bankruptcy Judge:

The debtor in this chapter 13 bankruptcy case has lodged an objection to the proof of claim filed by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The IRS has filed a proof of claim in the amount of $10,613.22 seeking to have a portion of its claim allowed as a priority under 11 U.S.C. § 507(a)(7) and the remainder classified as a general unsecured claim. The debtor’s objection is premised upon his contention that the IRS violated the provisions of the automatic stay, 11 U.S.C. § 362(a)(6), in connection with two previous bankruptcies which the debtor had…
