In February, 1896, Tbomas Robinson was tbe *3owner of certain mining claims and leases upon certain other mining claims situate in the Cripple Creek mining district. He believed that if a tunnel could be run through Beacon, Guyot, Raven and Bull hills, along the line covered by these leases and mining claims, that it would result in the discovery of valuable deposits of mineral.
