Gerard B. Lambert Co. v. Rogers

This suit was brought in the circuit court of Phillips County by appellee against appellant to recover two months’ wages and the rental value of a house for the same length of time, for an alleged breach of an employment contract. It was alleged that appellant employed appellee on August 1, 1920, as a farm manager on its plantation during the balance of the year, for $275 per month and the use of a house, and that, during the month of October, it discharged him without cause, and refused to pay him Ms salary and the rental value of the house for November and December.
