MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER ON MOTION TO STRIKE JURY DEMAND

I. Background
On June 8, 1984, an involuntary petition for relief under chapter 11 of Title 11, United States Code (“the Code”) was filed with this court against Honeycomb, Inc. (the “Debtor”). On June 14, 1984, the official unsecured creditors’ committee of the debtor (the “Creditors Committee” or the “Committee”) was appointed. In January of 1986, Fidelity Bank, N.A. (“Fidelity”), an unsecured creditor, filed a proof of claim with this court against the Debtor’s estate in the amount of $465,401.13…
