This is an appeal from a judgment awarding the custody of a minor child to her mother. The plaintiff, Dennis Seymour, "brought an action against the defendant, Margaret Seymour, seeking dissolution of their marriage and custody of their minor child. The defendant’s cross complaint did not contest that the marriage had irretrievably broken down, but sought an order that custody be awarded to the defendant as well as an order for ancillary financial relief.
