Case Summary

Muncie Indiana Transit System (Transit System) appeals from a decision of the full Worker's Compensation Board (the Board) affirming the single hearing officer's decision that Michael Smith suffered injuries arising out of and in the course of his employment with Transit Authority. Specifically, Transit Authority argues that the Board's decision is erroneous because there is insufficient evidence that Smith's carpal tunnel syndrome arose out of Smith's employment.
