This action was instituted before the Workmen’s-Compensation Commission, by claimants, who are the parents of Angelo Trióla, seventeen years old, deceased, against the Western Union Telegraph Company, employer of Angelo Trióla.

The claim alleged that Angelo Trióla died as a result of injuries received when a bicycle on which he was riding was struck by a truck, the property of the Ragland Transfer Company, Greenville, Illinois. The total amount of compensation claimed was $3,048, being the maximum penalty allowable.
