This is an appeal by C. J. W. and D. L. W., his wife, from a judgment of the Juvenile Court of St. Louis County dismissing their petition for the transfer of custody and the eventual adoption of a minor.

The child involved in this proceeding, K. W. S., a boy, was born in lawful wedlock, to K. S. and M. K., his wife, on November 13, 1960. Domestic difficulties subsequently developed between the natural parents and they separated on February 16, 1961.
