On a jury trial, the defendant was found guilty of the illegal possession of drugs in violation of §§ 19-480 (b) and 19-481 (a) of the General Statutes. The sole issue presented on his appeal to this court is whether the removal of heroin and marihuana from the automobile which the defendant was driving and the subsequent *128admission of them into evidence were in violation of the fourth amendment of the constitution of the United States.
