OPINION

PARKS, Presiding Judge:

The appellant, John Walker Lucero, was convicted by a jury in the District Court of Comanche County, Case No. CRF-83-510. for the crime of Rape in the First Degree, Burglary in the First Degree, and two counts of the Crime Against Nature. The jury returned verdicts of guilty on all counts, and set punishment at thirty (30), eight (8), ten (10) and ten (10) years imprisonment. He also was convicted for misdemeanor Assault and Battery, and the jury set punishment for that offense at thirty (30) days imprisonment in the county jail, and a $100.00 fine. The trial…
