This is a suit arising'from an automobile accident which occurred in the middle of the three northbound lanes on Interstate 5. The jury found for the defendant on the plaintiffs’ claim and for the plaintiffs on the defendants’ counterclaim. Plaintiffs appeal.

The driver of plaintiffs’ vehicle, Erma Schlect, reduced her speed, perhaps rather suddenly, when she noticed that there had been an accident ahead of her.
