PROCEDURAL HISTORY

This matter comes before the Court on The Christian Coalition International’s Petition for Attorney’s Fees and Costs-related to its litigation against the Internal Revenue Service (“IRS”).

On February 25, 2000, The Christian Coalition International (“Plaintiff’), filed a complaint against the United States challenging the IRS’s refusal to grant the Plaintiff tax-exempt status under 26 U.S.C. § 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code.
