Danny Holder brought this civil action in the Superior Court for Floyd County, Georgia, alleging that he was discharged from his job with defendant in violation of a contract between defendant and plaintiff as a member of Bakers Local Union No. 25, a subordinate of the Bakery and Confection-ary Workers’ International Union, AFL-CIO. He sought compensatory damages of $45,000 and $250,000 in exemplary damages. Defendant removed the action to this Court.
