THOMPSON, Presiding Judge.

The State appeals from a judgment of the trial court denying the State’s request for the forfeiture of Everette Ross Speaks’s 1987 Toyota truck (“the truck”). We reverse and remand.

On December 17, 2004, the State filed a complaint in the trial court alleging that the truck had been used to facilitate the “transportation, sale, receipt, possession, manufacture or concealment” of a controlled substance and that the truck was subject to forfeiture pursuant to § 20-2-93, Ala.Code 1975.
