Convicted of trafficking in cocaine, the defendant appeals, claiming that evidence of the cocaine seized from him should have been suppressed. Because we agree with his contention, we reverse his conviction.
We take our facts from the motion judge’s findings, supplemented interstitially by a few details from the testimony of Officer LaPointe, the only witness at the hearing on the motion to suppress.
