On September 13, 2002, defendants Randy Gomes and Suzanne Pomey tendered pleas of guilty to indictments charging them with the offense of larceny of property over $250. See G.L.c. 266, §30. T. 8-9.1 The pleas were tendered along with a request that the court decline to enter a finding of guilty and, instead, order the cases continued without a finding for a period of time, subject to probationary conditions that the defendants offered to accept under G.L.c. 276, §87, followed by an order of dismissal.
