This action is brought by the trustees of Harriet J. Smith Trust Estate to recover taxes paid by them under protest to the collector of taxes of the town of Salisbury, on September 29, 1922. The case was brought to and the facts were found by the Addison County municipal court. The taxes so paid, amounting to $121.03, were assessed by the listers of the town on a list of said trust estate for the year 1922, made up as hereinafter stated. On the facts found judgment was rendered for the plaintiffs .to recover the sum of the taxes paid and interest thereon, amounting to $125.87, and costs. The…
