OPINION

HOWARD, Chief Judge.

In a consolidated trial appellant John Allred was indicted and tried for child molestation and appellant Sandra Allred was indicted and tried for the crime of first-degree hindering prosecution. The victim was Laura Allred, appellant’s four-year-old daughter. Both defendants were found guilty and John Allred was sentenced to seven years in the Arizona State Prison, while Sandra Aired was placed on probation.

The record shows that Edith Hughes, John Alred’s niece, was providing day care for Laura and her seven-year-old half-sister, Faith Davis. One day Laura fell off…
