Judgment, Supreme Court, New York County (John A.K. Bradley, J.), rendered June 26, 1996, convicting defendant, after a jury trial, of murder in the second degree, and sentencing him to a term of 25 years to life, unanimously affirmed.

*265The verdict was not against the weight of the evidence. There is no basis for disturbing the jury’s determinations concerning credibility (see People v Gaimari, 176 NY 84, 94 [1903]).

The court properly denied defendant’s motion to suppress statements he made while incarcerated for an unrelated crime. The detectives were not required to provide Miranda warnings…
