This is an appeal from an order denying appellant’s petition for a writ of habeas corpus and returning him to the custody of the Warden of the U. S. Medical Center at Springfield, Missouri, where he is held under a sentence of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. The case is submitted on briefs of the parties, the motion of the Government to dismiss the appeal because of failure to prosecute it diligently, and the motion of appellant for appointment of counsel to represent him in this court.
