—In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, the plaintiff appeals from (1) an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Arniotes, J.), dated May 13, 1998, which granted the defendants’ motion pursuant to CPLR 4401, made at the close of the plaintiffs case, for judgment as a matter of law on the ground that the plaintiff failed to prove a prima facie case, and (2) a judgment *356of the same court, dated June 23, 1998, in favor of the defendants and against her dismissing the complaint.
