In March 1864 John R. Mowry died intestate, seised of the undivided moiety of real estate which he and his brother Andrew purchased and held as tenants in common. He left surviving him a widow and four sons. In August of the same year, Josiah, one of the sons, executed aud delivered to his uncle, Andrew Mowry, a deed for all his right, title and interest in his father’s real estate.
