Defendant Parris Kendall Bentz was convicted by jury of one count assault first degree, a Class “B” felony, § 565.050 RSMo 1986; one count unlawful use of a weapon, § 571.030.1(4) RSMo 1986; and one count armed criminal action, § 571.015 RSMo 1986. The court sentenced defendant to serve ten years for assault first degree concurrent with twenty-five years imprisonment for the armed criminal action conviction, and a consecutive term of three years imprisonment for unlawful use of a weapon.
