MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER
ANN CLAIRE WILLIAMS, District Judge.
After prevailing in an action against the government on a question of her vicarious tax liability, Vicki Chambers moved for and was awarded attorneys fees’ and costs against the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Justice (“the Government”) pursuant to 26 U.S.C. § 7430. This matter is before the court on the United States’ motion for a determination of case status, and appeal of the bankruptcy court’s award of fees and costs in the above captioned matter.
