This is a redhibitory action. Plaintiff alleged that defendant, a foreign corporation, was indebted unto him in the sum of $235, for the following:
That defendant on February 8,1934, sold to him 200 empty barrels at the price of $1.50 per barrel, or a total of $300; that said barrels were sold on the representation of defendant that they were fit for use as vinegar barrels, knowing at the time that petitioner was in the vinegar business.
