The declaration in this case counts upon an endowment certificate issued to one Matthew Schreiner by the High Court of Illinois Catholic Order of Foresters, in and by which, on condition that said member (Matthew Schreiner) complies with the laws, rules and regulations governing the said order, said High Court promises to pay to his wife, Maggie Schreiner, SI,000, upon satisfactory evidence of the death of said member, provided that said member is in good standing in the order at the time of his death, “and provided also that this certificate shall not have been surrendered by said member and…
