This case involves a grade-crossing collision between a passenger automobile and a passenger train. The accident occurred on December 12, 1946, at the intersection of the North Western tracks and Corry street within the city of Madison. The time of day was 5 :15 p. m. The street lights were burning and there were no extraordinary conditions affecting visibility or traction.
