DECUIR, Judge.

BThe Defendant, Benny Christopher Kimbrough, was charged with attempted armed robbery, in violation of La.R.S. 14:27 and 14:64. The State invoked the firearm enhancement provision of La.R.S. 14:64.3 in the bill of information. The Defendant pled guilty and was subsequently sentenced to serve twelve years at hard labor without benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence. The Defendant now appeals.
