STEVENS, J.:

¶ 1 This is an appeal from the order entered by the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County on November 13, 2000, dismissing without a hearing Appellant’s amended petition for relief filed pursuant to the Post Conviction Relief Act (PCRA), 42 Pa.C.S.A. §§ 9541-9546. Herein, Appellant contends that he is entitled to an evidentiary hearing concerning an allegation raised in his PCRA petition. We affirm.
