On September 25th, 1936, the Metropolitan Life In suranee Company issued a policy insuring the life of Rebecca Schloss, under the terms of which it promised to pay to Lois Schloss, daughter of the insured and beneficiary named therein, the sum of §2000, upon receipt of due proof of the death of the insured.

In accord with the provisions of section 87 of article 48A of the Public General Laws of Maryland, the policy provides as follows: “(4) Entire Contract: This policy and the application therefor, a copy of which is attached hereto as a part hereof, constitute the entire contract between the…
