This action was instituted by plaintiff to recover under a fire insurance policy issued by defendant. A jury verdict was rendered in favor of defendant and judgment was entered on the verdict. On appeal plaintiff contends: (1) that he was entitled to recover for the loss and damages to the building in its physical condition immediately prior to the fire; (2) that evidentiary rulings by the court served only to confuse the jury; (3) that the court erred in instructing the jury; and (4) that the court should have directed the jury…
