Robert Beeman, President of Local 666 of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees and Moving Picture Machine Operators of the United States and Canada (“Local 666”) and a member of Local 666’s executive board, filed suit in federal district court alleging that other members of Local 666’s executive board (the defendants) engaged in conduct that violated the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO). 18 U.S.C. § 1961 et seq.
