The defendants were prosecuted in the juvenile court for the parish of Caddo, under the provisions of the Act 30 of 1924, p. 46, charged with contributing to conditions which caused a child under the age of 17 years to be adjudged a “delinquent child.” The offense is made a misdemeanor by the Act 169 of 1918, p. 322; the penalty being a fine not exceeding $200 or imprisonment in the parish jail for a term not exceeding one year, or both the fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the judge.
