BARRETT, Commissioner.
On April 20, 1963, Mrs. N. Jessie Crane, alleging her paper record title to a strip of ground in Block 30, Ashland, instituted this suit to quiet title, for trespass and for damages. The defendants are the pastor, board of trustees and members of the Woodcrest Primitive Church who on July 1, 1961 purchased a tract of land adjoining Mrs. Crane’s property from G. A. and Nelle W. John. In response to Mrs. Crane’s suit the church pleaded title to the strip of land by adverse possession, under the ten-year statute (RSMo 1959, § 516.-010, V.A.M.S.), and asked for a decree…
