—Judgment unanimously affirmed. Memorandum: On appeal from a judgment convicting him following a jury trial of, inter alia, nine counts of murder in the second degree, defendant contends that County Court should have granted his severance motion because the core of his defense was in irreconcilable conflict with that of his codefendant (see, People v Mahboubian, 74 NY2d 174, 184).
