In this casé Ferguson-Florissant Reorganized School District (“the school board") appeals the District Court’s grant of summary judgment in favor of the plaintiff, Cecilia Lacks, on Lacks’s claim under Missouri law that her termination by the board was not supported by substantial evidence. The school board also appeals a jury verdict in favor of Lacks on First Amendment and race discrimination claims. We reverse and remand for the entry of judgment in favor of the defendant school district. We hold, among other things,' that a school district does not violate…
