PRENTICE, Justice.
Defendants (Appellants) were convicted in a trial by jury of murder in the first degree and murder in the perpetration of a robbery. Ind.Code § 85-18-4-1 (Burns 1975). They were sentenced to life imprisonment for murder in the first degree, with sentencing withheld on the second count.
