NYGAARD, Circuit Judge.
Robert Angst appeals from an order dismissing his case for lack of subject matter jurisdiction under Fed.R.Civ.P. 12(b)(1). For the reasons below, we will affirm the decision of the district court.

Angst, a Pennsylvania citizen, sued Royal Maccabees Life Insurance Company and Federal Kemper Life Assurance Company. For diversity purposes, Royal is a citizen of the state of Michigan and Kemper is a citizen of the state of Illinois.
