J. E. Barlow sued out a writ of habeas corpus, before the ordinary of Stewart county, against Edith P. Barlow, alleging that she was illegally detaining Madeline, their minor-daughter, that he had been divorced from the respondent, and tha,t in the decree the custody of his daughter was awarded to him.
