CARLTON, J., FOR THE COURT:

¶ 1. On April 1-2, 2015, a jury in the Rankin County Circuit Court found Arnold Bailey guilty of grand larceny in violation of Mississippi Code Annotated section 97-17-41 (Rev. 2006), and the court sentenced him to serve ten years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC), with two years suspended, followed by five years of supervised probation. 1 The trial court entered an order allowing Bailey to file an out-of-time appeal.
