Appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Monroe County (David D. Egan, J.), rendered January 4, 2011. The judgment convicted defendant, upon a jury verdict, of predatory sexual assault against a child.

It is hereby ordered that the judgment so appealed from is unanimously affirmed.

Memorandum: Defendant appeals from a judgment convicting him upon a jury verdict of predatory sexual assault against *1089a child (Penal Law § 130.96). We reject defendant’s contention that he was denied his right to be present at a sidebar conference during which Supreme Court spoke directly with the child victim.…
