In this ease a writ of error is prosecuted by the plaintiffs in error, J. 0. Mitchell and F. J. Parr, to review the action of the circuit court of Sangamon county in striking from the files the plea of the general issue, and sustaining a demurrer to certain special pleas filed in defense of- the action, and in rendering judgment against Henry N. Hansen and themselves, in favor of the defendant in error, John R. Bradshaw, for the sum of $27,500.
