LECHE, Judge.

Plaintiff brought this suit against defendant, claiming the proceeds of a certain policy of life insurance as beneficiary thereunder. In her petition plaintiff invokes the provi sions of Act No. 166 of 1912, as amended by Act No. 260 of 1918, commonly referred to as the Pauper Act, permitting a litigant to prosecute an action without previous or current payment of costs, or the giving of a bond for costs, if he is unable, because of his poverty, to pay such costs, or give a bond for same.
