This matter comes before the Court upon the plaintiffs motion for the recovery of certain “costs” and for the recovery of interest, accrued between the dates of the jury’s verdict and the delivery by the defendants of a check in payment of the sum awarded. The jury returned its verdict on July 28, 2005, awarding the plaintiff $750,000 but making no provision for interest. On August 24,2005, the defendants delivered to the plaintiff checks for $750,000 and $225, the amount of the taxable costs computed by the Clerk.
